Investing in the future

Through 2015 parent company Ballingslöv International injected unprecedented capital in to PRMF at every level.

Over £10 million of funding has achieved an unsurpassed world-class business – a leader in today’s UK contract kitchens market and an organisation ready for the future challenges of the business landscape ahead.

The capital investment saw the integration of new state-of-the-art technology, a new distribution warehouse and inspiring new offices which has been coupled with a new fleet of vehicles – recently awarded FORS silver transport accreditation. This new kitchen range showcases the result of the Investment and how PRMF intend to constantly evolve sustainably to meet the needs of the industry.

Forest Stewardship Council®

In 2009, Manhattan was certified in accordance with the requirements of the Forest Stewardship Council® using the FSC® Chain of Custody standard.

FSC® is an international organisation dedicated to promoting responsible management of the world’s forests, founded in response to public concern about deforestation and demand for a trustworthy woodlabelling scheme.

Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS)

Ensures we monitor our fleet performance in all aspects of safety, fuel efficiency & vehicle emissions.

The Furniture Industry Sustainability Programme (FISP)

FISP is established as the industry forum on all environmental and sustainable issues.

In 2007 Manhattan was accredited to BSEN 9001:2000 Quality Management System Standard and subsequent 2015 Standard.
