Kitchen Planner

Purpose of the Kitchen Planner role: To produce kitchen plans and accurate quotations in an efficient manner in accordance with our customer’s specification and aspirations and in line with the Company’s procedures/design guidelines, providing high level support to our Sales Team in order to help win business for the Company. Key Accountabilities: • To produce high quality kitchen plans and quotations accurately in accordance with industry relevant standards and the company’s design guidelines. • To accompany sales personnel to customer meetings in order that technical issues can be resolved and to enable increased sales value though design collaboration. • To communicate with the Sales Team or our customer directly to ensure a full understanding of the Employees Requirements are gained and met. • To support the department in an effort to achieve agreed KPI’s particularly with regards to output, efficiency and turnaround times. • To proactively collaborate with other internal departments to ensure that kitchen plans can be delivered within service level agreements. • To provide training and mentoring to less experienced members of the team in order to increase their technical capability • To fully support the sales effort and to work with the Sales Force effectively to meet agreed KPI’s • To adhere to a culture of openness, development and team spirit. • To challenge the business to improve and innovate and to develop deliver sustainable improvement within own function so that the business effectively manages uncertainty and change. Competencies required: • Demonstrated ability to effectively plan and meet deadlines (plan, prioritise, organise workload) • Demonstrated ability to create and sustain good working relationships with colleagues • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with detail • Customer focus • Ability to adapt to change and learn new standards • Ability to convey information effectively both in writing and orally • Prior experience with a variety of software packages • GCSE Maths & English as Grade C • Prior spatial planning experience & experience with CAD software e.g. 20:20, Planit, Fusion desirable but not essential. N.B. We operate a hybrid working policy i.e. you may opt to work from home 1-2 days per week
