The Millstream is a new development of forty-four retirement apartments, for the flourishing community at The Chocolate Quarter the 1- and 2-bedroom apartments in the popular Keynsham area of Bristol.

The Millstream is brought to you by the St Monica Trust which is celebrating it’s 100-year anniversary. The Millstream is the final phase of the wonderful award-winning retirement village The Chocolate Quarter. Which is located on the iconic red brick buildings of the former Fry’s Chocolate Factory.

Scope

To provide a design with modern and stylish colour palettes and practicality that will tie in with the already established apartments in The Chocolate Factory community. This development is a mixed tenure scheme of Private, shared ownership properties.

The scope also included the supply and installation of appliances to the private and shared ownership apartments together with solid work surfaces in the kitchens and the vanities in the bathrooms and ensuites. We also added accessible features to help with The Chocolate Quarters community’s demographic.

Highlights

This was our first project with Red Construction the end-product and feedback has confirmed that this site was a roaring success. We are so pleased that we were able to help grow the St Monica Trust’s great work and community with Red Construction. With the Millstream we have demonstrated our ability to complete projects on time and to budget. We look forward to working with both Red Construction and the St Monica Trust in the future.
