Paula Rosa Manhattan is CHAS accredited

Company news

Paula Rosa Manhattan is pledged to supporting our existing and new clients and their constantly evolving needs. To maintain this commitment, we have recently acquired CHAS Elite membership, which shows full compliance with the Common Assessment Standard, the construction industry’s gold standard for accreditation, backed by Build UK and CECA. CHAS is committed to setting health and safety benchmarks that drive industries forward and make the world of work a safer place.

What is CHAS and the Common Assessment Standard? The CHAS accreditation (Contractors’ Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) is for contractors who wish to show their commitment to health and safety. It ensures compliance throughout the different areas of risk management, and mitigates risks across our supply chain.

The Common Assessment Standard is the highest-recognised accreditation process in the industry. It is a series of rigorous assessments that show we are compliant in 13 areas; health & safety; insurance; financial; environmental; quality; equality; anti-bribery and corruption; modern slavery; CSR; identity; corporate and professional standing; building information modelling; and information security and GDPR. Together these are considered the highest risk areas within the construction industry, and those that require specific safeguarding.

What is the Benefit of CHAS Elite membership? CHAS membership shows how we practice rigorous health & safety practices across all areas of our business. It includes a wide range of assurances, including our continuing compliance with essential industry regulations, reducing health and safety risks of any person on and off site; seeking ethical and sustainable business practices; and going above and beyond to support our clients and deliver goods and services that are of a consistently high standard.

By undertaking the lengthy and in-depth assessment and achieving CHAS Elite membership, Paula Rosa Manhattan has demonstrated that we are committed to protect our clients, our people and all those in our supply chain from risk.
