Fifteen Years Strong in Sustainable Timber
A Milestone in Responsibly Sourcing

As a producer of forest-based products, we have a responsibility to ensure that the materials and components we use are ethically sourced. We are now in our 15th year of having Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification and our FSC® chain of custody certification demonstrates our commitment to using materials that are responsibly sourced.
The FSC is an international, non-governmental organisation. With a mission to promote environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world's forests. Since its foundation in 1994, FSC has grown to become the world’s most respected and widespread forest certification system.
The FSC chain of custody (CoC) is the path taken by products from the forest to the point where the product is sold. It includes each stage of sourcing, processing, trading, and distribution where progress to the next stage of the supply chain involves a change of product ownership.
150 million hectares of forest are certified to FSC standards, and we are 1 of over 50,000 companies that hold FSC chain of custody certification. This certification has in the past enabled us to tender for and win contracts such as the conversion of the Athletes village post London 2012 Olympics and has allowed us to work with some of the top developers in the city such as Canary Wharf Contractors.
As consumers and businesses seek to reduce their impact on the environment, demand for sustainable products is rapidly growing. Maintaining and promoting our certification has never been more important. This September we will be seeking recertification to the standard and are looking forward to another 15 years of supporting responsible forestry.
