It is clear from the recent interactions we have had with some of our customers that sustainability has become a vital topic for everyone working in our sector to incorporate into “the way we work”.
The Supply Chain Sustainability School recognises that for our industry to act, learning must drive any change.
We have been a member of the school for some time but only recently been awarded our “Gold Badge” the highest level a member of the school can achieve, this demonstrates that we are regularly engaging with the school and applying the learning to make our business more sustainable.
You can read our case study on the SCSS website
Being a member of the school means we are part of a growing community of organizations committed to making a difference by improving their performance in a measured way across the environmental, social, and governance challenges facing the industry. Being able to benchmark our performance against the school and sector average helps generate focus areas, drive improvement, and to stay ahead of the game!
The school offers training and resources shaped by the construction industry and many of these partners are key customers. Our Gold status demonstrates that we take our own sustainable development seriously and that we value the support and knowledge that being a member of the school brings.
